Vesta’s Main festival was the Vestalia, a weeklong celebration held every year from June seven–fifteen. During the Vestalia, barefoot maidens fashioned a procession bringing about the Temple of Vesta, exactly where they would make offerings into the goddess. The Vestalia was enormously well-known—following the increase of Christianity whi
